Hi there, I’m Em Davis, artist and illustrator working from Lismore, NSW.
I create compelling, story-driven designs that are both heartwarming and fun.

As a Lismore flood survivor, I’m mostly concerned with making work that engages with the Lismore community and other recovering communities in a way that is compassionate and sensitive. There are so many stories to uncover. I hope that sharing these stories through my practice may have potential to help others process loss.

When I’m not working digitally, I create with reclaimed materials when I can, often using cardboard and found frames. Re-using items to me rejects consumer culture and contributes to the environment as well as the community.

I have experience designing logos, wedding stationery and many different kinds of portraits.

I work with digital media, pen and pencil drawings, paintings, collage and printmaking
